Horsley is a newer residential suburb above Dapto, built from the 1980s on, with brick and tile homes on regular blocks and family housing as far as the eye can see. Nearly every rental here is a house, often three or four bedrooms with a garage.
Newer homes clean up well but the finish bar is higher. Agents expect walls without marks, tracks without grit and wet areas without film, and the ensuite plus main bathroom combination is standard, which adds real time. Carpeted bedrooms are near universal, so carpet cleaning is often a lease condition worth checking before you book.
What a Horsley bond clean covers
The scope follows standard agent checklists rather than a promise about your bond:
- Oven, cooktop, rangehood and splashback degreased
- Cupboards, drawers and bench tops cleaned
- Main bathroom and ensuite descaled, screens and grout scrubbed
- Windows, sills, tracks and screens
- Wardrobes and robes wiped inside, skirting boards and switches
- Walls spot cleaned, light fittings and ceiling fans dusted
- Floors vacuumed and mopped throughout
Size and condition set the price. Four bedroom homes with two bathrooms are the common job and sit in the upper part of the range. Treat any figure as guide pricing only and see our bond cleaning cost guide for typical ranges.
Most people book carpet steam cleaning with the clean so there is one visit and one receipt. A standalone oven and kitchen clean or window cleaning can be quoted on its own, and the full scope is on our end of lease cleaning page.
We also cover nearby Dapto, Kanahooka and Kembla Grange.
Frequently asked questions
Does the second bathroom really add much?
Yes. A second or third bathroom adds genuine time, which is why two homes with the same bedroom count can be quoted differently.
Can the cleaners come the day before the inspection?
Often, particularly if you ask early in the day. Booking a day or two ahead of the inspection is better than the morning of it, especially with carpets drying.
Will the clean guarantee my bond is returned?
No. The bond covers damage and rent as well as cleaning, so no honest cleaner promises it back. A checklist clean gives you the best chance of keeping cleaning out of the argument.
